Service Contracts and Extended Warranties

Britton Price Ltd offers nationwide service support for all of the products available through the One Stop Shop. Below you will
find a table detailing the various service contract options available and for many of our products an Extended 5 Year Warranty
is available. We would also be delighted to offer our services to products from other Suppliers in your home.
Service Options and Selection

1. Weekday planned

We will carry out planned maintenance of the equipment for the contract price, at the agreed frequency between the hours
of 9.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. We will carry out breakdown work at your request and charge you for labour and materials at the prevailing rate.

2. Weekday plus

We will carry out planned maintenance of the equipment for the contract price, at the agreed frequency and breakdown work between the hours of 9.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. We will charge you for all materials and parts. Any breakdown work you require outside these hours will be charged at the prevailing rate.

3. All week extra

We will carry out planned maintenance of the equipment for the contract price, at the frequency between the hours of
9.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. In addition we will carry out breakdown work at your
request between the hours 9.00am and 11.00pm Monday to Friday and between the hours of 9.00am and 5.30pm at weekends and public holidays. All materials will be charged to you. Any breakdown work you require outside these
hours will be charged at the prevailing rate.

4. Round-the-clock comprehensive/extended warranty

We will carry out planned maintenance of the equipment for the contract price, at the agreed frequency between the hours
of 9.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. In addition, we will carry out breakdown work at your request 24 hours a day, any day of the year. This option includes all labour and materials unless specifically excluded in
the exclusions to contract appendix. Batteries and filters are always excluded.

Extended Warranty and Rental

1. Extended Warranties

You will be aware that the most expensive element of any repair is normally the labour element. As a consequence of this
fact, Britton Price, are offering the 5 Year Extended Warranty for many of the products in this catalogue.
This extended warranty enhances the manufacturers parts warranty by providing for:

• The labour content of repairs to support the manufacturers parts warranty;
• Annual or bi-annual service;
• LOLER inspection certificates if required.

This 5 Year Extended Warranty gives our customers the opportunity to buy equipment from the One Stop Shop in the knowledge that when supported by the purchase of the Extended Warranty, they can budget with some certainty for the future maintenance costs of the equipment bought.

Of course, the 5 Year Extended Warranty will not cover everything and we are completely upfront in telling you that batteries are excluded as are bath filters. The Extended Warranty covers fair wear and tear only, so if for example the equipment is damaged
we will charge you at our prevailing rates.

2. Equipment leasing

Leasing can be a highly flexible way of acquiring the assets your business needs, as buying equipment outright doesnt always
make sound financial sense. Leasing allows you to preserve working capital and benefit from fully serviced and maintained
up to date equipment.

3. Short Term Straight Stairlift Hire

In a busy care home or sheltered housing scheme the possibility of being without a passenger lift while it is replaced or refurbished is a considerable problem. Even with planned works there can be periods of weeks when a lift is out of use and this will have major consequences for the residents of the home and can lead to much distress.
Working with one of our biggest customers on how to reduce this stress and inconvenience we have established a Stairlift
hire division to provide Stairlifts for the short term. So now we can install Stairlifts asa temporary measure while repairs or replacement of the lift is carried out.
